Alexander Hanley

Director

Chartered Accountant & Business Advisor

Alex began his career at Walker Hill Chartered Accountants, where he qualified and worked as a Chartered Accountant for six years before moving into advisory roles as Manager at DLA Partners and then KPMG Australia. In June 2023, he joined Mackay Goodwin, a specialist restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency advisory firm, as Director, where his focus is supporting businesses through periods of financial pressure.

Through H&H Tax and Business Advisors, Alex supports business owners with a broad range of accounting and tax services, including financial statement preparation, tax planning and compliance, business activity statements, bookkeeping, and cash flow management. He works closely with directors to identify early signs of financial distress and provide practical guidance on options available to them.

Leigh Habib

Director

Business Growth & Finance

Leigh began his career with Macquarie Bank, where he developed a strong foundation in commercial lending and credit before continuing his career across several financial institutions. He later specialised in helping business owners secure funding for growth, acquisitions, refinancing and debt restructuring, and continues to consult with financial services institutions across the industry.

Through H&H Tax & Business Advisors, Leigh works alongside business owners to identify practical finance, tax and restructuring strategies that support long-term success. His experience bridges both accounting and commercial finance, helping clients make informed decisions that strengthen cash flow, improve financial performance and position their businesses for sustainable growth.

Leigh is also Director of SBR Financial, allowing H&H clients to access specialist finance solutions when funding is required. Together, H&H and SBR Financial deliver an integrated approach that combines proactive accounting, taxation, business advisory and commercial lending, ensuring clients have access to the right expertise at every stage of their business journey.
